It's fortunate that Amanda Peet's character in this movie isn't as clumsy as her counterpart on "Jack and Jill."  Otherwise, she'd fall straight through the gaping holes in the plot of "Saving Silverman."  If you can get over the obvious annoyance that Jason Biggs is supposed to be the same age/hilarity level as Steve Zahn and the wonderful Jack Black, you might enjoy some of the chemistry between those three boys.
There are some brief laughs in this movie, but not enough to lead anywhere when clumsily strung together with some odd sexual tension and a Neil Diamond obsession.
